(CNN) — Lincoln unveiled a redesigned version of its Nautilus SUV, which it says will have the largest display screen of any competitor and a selection of built-in scents to create a more relaxing atmosphere. But perhaps the most notable change is where the car will be manufactured: The new model will be imported to the United States from China when it goes on sale here early next year, a Lincoln spokesperson said.Lincoln is Ford’s luxury brand and currently the Nautilus is built for the North American market in Ford’s factory in Ontario, Canada. But Ford plans to shift that plant to produce electric vehicles and EV battery packs starting in 2025. The new Nautilus will be gasoline-powered, as are the current versions. The Nautilus will certainly not be the only Chinese-made vehicle sold in the United States. General Motors’ Buick Envision SUV is produced in China and Volvo’s S90 full-sized sedan is also imported from China. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Netflix is poised to shut down the DVD-by-mail rental service that set the stage for its trailblazing video streaming service, ending an era that began a quarter century ago when delivering discs through the mail was considered a revolutionary concept. The DVD service, which still delivers films and TV shows in the red-and-white envelopes that once served as Netflix’s emblem, plans to mail its final discs on Sept. 29.Netflix ended last year with nearly 231 million worldwide subscribers to its video streaming service, but it stopped disclosing how many people still pay for DVD-by-mail delivery years ago as that part of its business steadily shrank. The DVD service generated $145.7 million in revenue last year, which translated into somewhere between 1.1 million and 1.3 million subscribers, based on the average prices paid by customers.Shortly before Netflix broke it off from video streaming in 2011, the DVD-by-mail service boasted more than 16 million subscr...Pit bulls found abandoned in Salem now up for adoption

Several pitbulls found abandoned in Salem last month are now up for adoption, the MSPCA announced on Tuesday. Salem police said the dogs were found at various locations around the city on March 19. Officials said the dogs showed signs of abuse and neglect and were malnourished. Nearly a month later, the MSPCA and Northeast Animal Shelter are seeking forever homes for two dogs — Sassy and Bam Bam. A third dog, Pebbles, is expected to become available for adoption in the coming days, officials said. The dogs, all believed to be about five-years-old, are “incredibly loving and friendly, despite their ordeal,” according to shelter staff. While back to a healthy weight, officials said Sassy and BamBam will need dental work after their adoption. Learn more through the Northeast Animal Shelter here. Tyler Herro couldn’t believe it in the moment Sunday, still couldn’t believe it at Tuesday’s practice, and said he probably won’t come to complete grips of being sidelined with a broken right hand until his Miami Heat tip off Game 2 of their Eastern Conference opening-round NBA playoff series Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.“Obviously being at home and being in the playoffs, you work so hard all year to be in this moment, where I feel like I had some things to prove this postseason,” Herro, a native of the Milwaukee area, said as teammates completed Tuesday’s practice at Fiserv Forum. “So it was a tough moment. I still can’t believe it.“It’ll probably sink in [Wednesday] night, when I can’t suit up. It’s my first time breaking a bone, and unfortunate timing.”Injured diving for a loose ball near the end of the first half of the Heat’s 130-117 Sunday victory in Game 1, Herro described...Guregian: Patriots OC Bill O’Brien hopes to purge last year from the system

FOXBORO — Bill O’Brien’s mission might prove to be impossible. But he’s smart enough to know that Step 1 of recovering from last season’s debacle, and getting Mac Jones and the offense back to some level of competency is to erase last season from their memory banks.Just purge it out of their system.O’Brien, speaking with the media Tuesday for the first time since coming aboard as the team’s offensive coordinator, said his theme for the players on offense was simply this: “to move forward.”O’Brien must have uttered the words “fresh start” and “clean slate” a dozen times while answering questions during his session with the media. He gets it.He knows he has to cleanse Jones and the rest from the offensive purgatory they endured last season, with two inexperienced coaches at the helm.He knows he has to get Matt Patricia and Joe Judge out of their system, to give himself the best chance of succeeding, and moving forward with his new plan and a system he believes will benefit everyone.O’Br...Abandoned puppy has police seeking public’s help

KHARTOUM, Sudan (AP) — Fighting raged in Sudan on Tuesday hours after an internationally brokered truce was supposed to have come into effect, as forces loyal to dueling generals battled for key locations in the capital and accused each other of violating the cease-fire.The truce was the culmination of days of intense pressure by top diplomats on four continents and had raised hopes of sparing Africa’s third largest country from civil war. But each side still appeared determined to vanquish the other, despite the suffering of millions of civilians trapped by the fighting.Residents said they still heard gunfire and explosions in different parts of the capital, Khartoum, particularly around the military’s headquarters and the Republican Palace. They said few people had ventured out, though there were crowds outside some bakeries.“The fighting remains underway,” Atiya Abdulla Atiya of the Sudan Doctors’ Syndicate told The Associated Press. “We are hearing constant gunfire.”Millio...Blue Jays announce new Rogers Centre upgrades for 2024 season.
